How to Read the Chart
To use this Blackjack Strategy Chart you must learn to read it correctly. The left column of the chart describes your hand while the top row shows the dealer’s face up card. In order to find up the right decision in the specific gaming situation you must choose the column and row that corresponds to your hand and the dealer’s face up card and find where they cross. The keys:
S – Stand
H – Hit
Dh – Double (or Hit if not allowed to Double)
Ds – Double (or Hit if not allowed to Double)
SP – Split
SU – Surrender (or Hit if not allowed to Surrender)
